TEN YEARS OF CEILI HOUSE' is a CD of 21 tracks of live Irish traditional music selected from the RTE Radio archive by programme presenter Kieran Hanrahan. The CD offers some of the
best Irish traditional music and song recorded during the first ten years ofKieran's involvement with the programme and features notable performances by leading ceili bands and solo
artists from the UK as well as the four provinces of Ireland.

Ten Years of Céilí House offers a track of live music recorded by RTÉ's Outside Broadcast unit for every year spanning the decade 1995 -2005. The CD shows major performers on the contemporary scene at their best, and includes such well known groups as the Ennis, Kilfenora, Naomh Pádraig and Táin Céilí Bands as well as individual stars such as Roisín Chambers, Martin Hayes and Iarla Ó Lionáird.

The CD is accompanied by an illustrated booklet giving a brief history of the Céilí House programme since its beginning over half a century ago on Raidio Éireann to the present day edition listened to by lovers of Irish traditional music the world over.
